The President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in his message on the occasion of Janmashtami, which is being celebrated tomorrow has said:

Let us on this auspicious day remind ourselves of the message of nishkarma karma and duty preached by Lord Krishna in the Gita. A work without thought of reward is relevant in our mission of transforming India into a developed country. May this sacred day strengthen our commitment to pluralism, unity, brotherhood and progress.”
