FUNDS FOR SARDAR SAROVAR PROJECT
The Canal system of the Sardar Sarovar project in the State of Gujarat and Rajasthan are under AIBP since the year 1996 and 1998 respectively. The Central Assistance released to these States upto March, 2006 are Rs. 4415.85 crore and Rs. 523.045 crore respectively.
