Orissa is one of the best pilgrimage center in India. Famous Jagannath Temple is situated at Puri. Lakhs of pilgrims from all parts of the India comes here to visit Jagannath Temple at Puri.

Tourist coming to Puri also visits nearby Chilika Lake that is known as Asia's largest lake.

On the road from Puri to Chilika, I found beautiful lush surroundings. Look at this scene. The small huts and some large area filled with water are very common scene in Orissa. Small ponds are used to irrigate Rice crop and to fulfill daily requirements of the people living there.
